Thanks for helping. Please require proof of ownership. Unfortunately people claim dogs that are not theirs. Report found to police non emergency and animal control. Any vet can scan for a microchip. I took the dog to the emergency vet and she did have a microchip. The vet contacted the chip company, who contacted the owner

Thank you for helping. Please make sure whoever claims this sweetheart has proof of ownership. It’s usually best to take pets to Kent County Animal Shelter since it’s the first place owners usually look.
