Ask neighbors to check sheds, garages, etc. he may have gone in somewhere and got locked in accidentally. They tend to hide, he may be close by hiding. Check at dawn and dusk they come out at those times. Call and check local shelters, vets, and precinct. Ask if anyone feeds strays, he may show up looking for food. Hang flyers. He might be hiding due to the weather.
