Shared. Please put your dog’s bed and some of your worn clothing outside. This will help your dog smell their way home. Leave your garage and lanai doors open enough for the dog to get back in. Your dog may be hiding close by. Please check under bushes and cars, look around lakes, canals, pools, and drainage areas in your neighborhood. Also if you have other dogs take them outside and make them bark for awhile Carry a leash when you’re out looking for your dog. People will realize your pet is lost and will offer help. Carry smelly food such as a hot dog, a hamburger, some roasted chicken, or wet cat food and bowl of cold water.Shared. Please put your dog’s bed and some of your worn clothing outside. ~~~Give a copy of the picture with information to the mailman in the area… They encounter many people & situation… Put a sign with information & picture in your front yard if you can & @ stop signs… For found animals Please take him to check for a microchip it’s free @ any Vet,Pet store etc. … Always get your animal microchipped, it gives a better chance of being reunited… There is always the possibility that a neighbor may have taken your “Fur~Baby” in thinking it was abandoned… Report any animal missing or found to your local dog pound… PetCo has free software that uses photo recognition to match your photo to photos from rescues and shelters…
