If you haven’t already, please file a missing report with Norfolk animal control. If the cat is chipped, make sure your contact information is up-to-date. Print flyers with your cats picture and your contact information and pass them out to neighbors. After 10 o’clock at night, go out with a bag of kitty treats and a flashlight and quietly walk around your yard calling your cats name. Use the flashlight to look in the bushes to see if the cat is hiding. Check with your neighbors to see if they’ve been in their shed. Cats like to go onto places that are dark. If a cat is locked into a shed unintentionally, you can’t hear them crying unless you’re standing by the shed.
