She was abandoned at the Johnny Steele Dog Park on Thursday, May 14, so of course I took her home. After having her for several days, I can see that she is socialized and is comfortable and familiar with being in a home or with a family. Our observations: *She gets along very well with our 2yr old dog (she wants to play all day) and no food aggression and despite having separate bowls, they sometimes end up sharing. *She is sweet with all of us (10 year old son and adults). *When out walking, she seems to do well with other kids and people, but does sometimes growl at other dogs. *Minimal mishaps in the hse. *Knows the sit, down, and paw commands. She does not seem to know "no!". *Sleeps well in a crate throughout the night and goes in on her own for naps during the day. *Does not appear to have any health issues (May 19 vaccine appt). Eats and drinks regularly and poop looks normal. *Is not skittish, doesn't cower, or shows signs of abuse. *She is medium sized and likely weighs 35-40lbs. *Age estimate 1 yr. Super playful. *Is not microchipped. *Will be vaccinated May 19.
