They scanned her entire upper part of her body, down to her tail

MK Kat I read or saw something a bit back that over time some microchips can move locations in an animal's body. Unless the vet fully scans the body, a chip might not register. This is an older dog. It could be a possibility.

MK Kat chips can migrate plus she was chipped in another country so we don’t know if they do it in the same place or what. She’s would’ve been chipped over 10 yrs ago

MK Kat would have to see in person to confirm. She’s been missing a little over a month so her hair may look different due to being outside for so long. Also cannot see her tail in the pic to see if it’s cropped or not
