Message from Owner

This is an old photo of him. I don’t have any recent. He’s approximately 3 to 4 years old. male neutered ,usually stays close to . people shy we just moved here to Cibilo on frontier Cove. He was gone for a few days and then came back on the 17th left again and I haven’t seen him since so I’m getting worried I’ve been told there are coyotes in the area. We moved from a out in the country so we are well aware of coyotes, but I’m really worried now. He definitely does not like to be indoors.he came back on the 17th and that’s the last I’ve seen of him. He has a teal blue collar on his name is Willie

Leave some of your laundry outside your home to help him find his way home by scent. Also leave a door, lower window, garage door cracked open enough for him to find a way back into the home. They normally try to get back inside the same way they got out. If he is scared, he may be moving at night when it is quieter and looking for a way back inside. Hope this helps 🙏

What to do if you lose your Cat 1. Search all places inside and around your house as cats can hide in small places. 2. Shake their treat bag and softly call their name. 3. Search at dusk and dawn with a flashlight as the light will pick up their eyes. Outside they tend to hide under shrubs, under porches, in open sheds & drainage ditches. You can shake their treats while looking outside too. 4. Put something with your scent on it outdoors, on a porch or deck or in your garage with the door cracked. Sometimes the scent brings them home. You can also put their litter box outside but depending on where you live, it could bring out predators. 5. Post on nextdoor & the Ring Neighbor app. 6. Post on pawboost. You can download a free flyer here. 7. Post on FB Lost & Found Groups 8. Make a lost pet report to all the local shelters especially in areas that have close boundaries. 9. Post on PetFBI site and use .org as the ending. 10. If chipped, report to chip company but don’t forget to change status when your cat is found. 11. Ask your neighbors to check their garages and sheds. 12. Last you can rent a humane trap from the shelter and set it with some tasty food. If you have a lot of predators in the area you live, you may want to skip this step. Often your cat is around your home at night.
