Laya is Missing in Everett, WA

She is an absolutely beautiful blonde, blue eyed pitbull/lab mix. She is still just a pup - barely even knows how to bark yet. She is just learning. She is wearing a camouflage collar and she is extremely friendly, especially when babies or children are present. She has a huge fascination with small humans. She loves toys and is a very energetic and active dog, if you see her and yell her name in an excited tone of voice she will approach you. Her name is "Laya" like the princess from Star wars, but she also responds to "mee mee" "oopey boopey" "oopin" "bebe" and "Good Girl"

Message from Owner

This is my best friend's dog, and she is literally everything and more to her. She just recently lost her previous pup in a very traumatic manner and didn't know if she was ready for a new addition so soon, but of course, they became absolutely inseperable. My friend and I have trained and raised her together since the day she was rescued and ended up being left on a whim to our care. Laya is a very special dog. She is sensitive and gentle. She is full of energy and is way too smart for her own good! Laya has been through so much in her young life so far already. So has my best friend. When my friend became aware of the fact that her sweet baby had been "stolen" from her vehicle that was in the care of someone who we both had thought was a solid and reliable person.. my friend was in the hosp healing from multiple surgeries and a spinal infection. She is already an amputee, having only one hand, she is now having to re learn how to walk on her own again and no longer has any feeling below her hips. It has been so devastating to watch someone who you care so much for, hurt so bad emotionally and physically. She is utterly heartbroken. The worst part of this whole ordeal is that the person who is responsible for Layas disappearing, could possibly be lying to us about what really has happened. We have been speculating that it's possible she has either sold her, or has her being kept hidden from us at an unknown location. This person has made 0 effort to help us figure out what has happened and where she could be. She has been given fliers to hand out and hasn't even spoke a single word pertaining to Laya or her going "missing".
