Michelle Danner That’s exactly what my son did a few years ago when his very timid Siamese cat got out. He was right there in the bushes behind his apartment building - probably for the whole 2 weeks he was missing. My son sat outside one evening and thought he saw his tail in the bushes. He went indoors and left the front door ajar. The cat came indoors in the middle of the night!

Thank you all so much for the advice, encouragement, shares, and messages. I truly appreciate every single one. ❤️ I know everyone is trying to help, and it means a lot. Just to answer the most common suggestions, here’s what we’ve already done: ✅ Posted on PawBoost, Nextdoor, Facebook, and multiple lost & found groups. ✅ Gone door-to-door through the neighborhood and surrounding streets, handing out flyers and talking with neighbors. ✅ Placed flyers and signs throughout the area, with larger H-frame yard signs arriving soon. ✅ Left our screened porch and garage accessible, each with Frankie’s and his human’s favorite blankets, fresh water, and cameras watching 24/7. ✅ Searched the neighborhood repeatedly, including under bushes, decks, vehicles, and other hiding spots. ✅ Hired a professional thermal drone team that searched for six hours. ✅ Used a handheld thermal scope the first night to check under vehicles and around vegetation for heat signatures. ✅ Following up on every lead and possible sighting. At this point, we’re continuing to search every day and hoping someone spots him or that he feels safe enough to come out. If you happen to see one of our signs, please leave it in place.
