Put an article of clothing that has your scent on it or his litter box out on the porch. If he is an inside only cat he probably got scared and ran into the nearest hiding spot he could find. Go out late at night or early morning when it's quiet and kind of dark and rattle his treat bag and call his name. This happened with my cat and took him almost a week to come out of hiding.
