Christina Marie Prachniak im at work but my mom is going to pick her up as soon as they open up! her name is chloe i have had her since i was teenager! shes just tiny i promise she eats absolutely everything in sight 🤣 she also drinks just fine despite her jaw ! we live over on alcorn she made it pretty far shes a dare devil!

Nikki Salvaggio you are so very welcome! my son called me and told me he found the dog and nobody was around on that whole street and he thought she was outside for days because she was so skinny. I went to him (we live on Abalom) and she was so friendly and came right up to me. We went to have her scanned and I told them I was concerned that she couldn't eat or drink on her own and maybe needs help because of her jaw so I didn't want to take care of her until we found you (no experience with having a pet with a possible disability). I really didn't want to leave her there but I was worried she needed care I don't know how to provide. I'm glad you found this post and can go get her in the morning. Can I ask what her name is? She was a sweetheart. My chihuahua is not lol

her jaw has deteriorated over the years due to losing her teeth as most chihuahuas do!

Marianne Brunelle-Cramer she is almost 15 and has never been mistreated ill smack you right in your mouth marianne mind your business she is a chihuahua of course she is going to be small! she eats freshpet three times a day and drinks water just fine ! you hae absolutely no idea what you are talking about and should not pass judgement on situations you know nothing about ! do

Nikki Salvaggio I brought her to AWL on Harborview Road. She didn't have a chip when they scanned her. She is there waiting for you.

Angie McBe we brought her to Harborview to be scanned but she doesn't have a chip. They took her in for now. She was a sweetheart. Hopefully she makes her way home soon.

Marianne Brunelle-Cramer this dog has a malformed jaw. She was clean, soft, and friendly. She wouldn't even sip water in the half hour I had her which is why I brought her to AWL. Initially my son thought what you did. I don't believe it to be the case. I suspect that the dog has trouble eating and drinking due to her lower jaw being significantly smaller than her upper jaw. That's mostly the reason I brought her in instead of taking care of her until the owner is found. I believe she has special needs and may need to be tube fed or similar. Other than being skinny the dog showed no other signs of "mistreatment".
