Your cat is considered a DISPLACED cat Lost from a place nots its home Some useful info A rescue volunteer Your cat is lost but a “Displaced Lost cat.” Your cat is still near where jumped off… hiding laying low… go back there now Bring your sweaty clothes/his blanket he will stay near Go there with a bright flashlight typically displaced cat venture out at early morning/dawn and dusk Look up trees, under brush. Bring his bed, your sweaty clothes and wait for him… Bring your cat’s favorite treat in small bag When you see your cat don’t yell,be calm, if it doesn’t come to you right away, crouch down make yummy sounds and toss a few treats its way Cats lost become instinctual because they are in their own.. May not recognize you Patience is key Watch this video on YouTube The video shows a dog… but cats too may not recognize you BE PATIENT, patience is key Make color copies of this post and add your cell. Jessica McMurtrie please tell them to reach out farther. I feel someone has got him and left someone possibly camping too, therefore he could be out of state and these notices are not being seen. If someone took him they will probably attend another race darlington or Charlotte maybe, it would be a good idea to post flyers at these events also. It’s what I would do for sure. If the the people that may have taken him were camping then chances are they will camp again. Until then I pray for his return.
