Search on Pawboost and LostmyDoggie to try to find the owner, and post on those sites also that you found this companion animal. Pawboost has a high rate of success in reuniting companion animal family members. We have the dog inside, he was feed and given water. He will be going again for another walk to see if maybe we can see where he came from. He does seem to know the area & seems to be dragging towards the metropolitan circle area.

Can you bring the dog inside to safety, food and water and then take to a vet to scan for chip? The vet may also recognize the dog and be able to contact its owners. Check with other local vets as well and contact the police. Also post fliers. And beware of bad actors!!!
