Message from Owner

Please help us find our Coco. She got out on Sunday night 12/29 and we cannot find her anywhere. We live near the Hoover High School and next to the Hoover Bus Depot and High School baseball field. I am reaching out beyond our neighborhoods because our hse is so close to the Cahaba River and the other side is Riverchase. If there is any possibility that she could have made it across the river and she is found somewhere on that side that would be a miracle. We have walked all the trails behind our hse since Monday, but have not had any luck in finding her. Coco has 2 larger dog sisters (lab and Great Pyrenees/ Aussie Mix) and a older cat sister so she would most likely be friendly to all humans and animals as she is super gentle, but she may be very scared if she is still out there which could cause her to be skiddish. I am so heartbroken we have not found her and worry so much about her being out in cold if she has made it this far. She is 5 years old, does not wear a collar but she is chipped and so so loved. I believe she would be by now if she could and am trying to keep hope that she is still out there alive somewhere.

Do this late at night: Walk the neighborhood very late at night, while shaking an open bag of Temptation treats (a must for success) as you call her/his name softly, very softly. Also bring a flashlight with you and look on trees, high up in case kitty was chased and climbed up. The eyes will beam like headlights when light is on them. IMPORTANT TO HAVE THE ""TREATS"" & ""FLASHLIGHT"" πŸ”¦ (yr phone might work). Get low on the ground if you see kitty, so not to scare away. πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ» Have these treats for this to work!! Bring kitty's blanket. πŸ”ΆοΈ Bring someone with you πŸ”ΆοΈ
