Jackie Krstulovich thank you I was looking on pawboost for him and didn't see it. I also looked on next door all night and saw nothing and my friends post and mine had no response .

The comment I replied to appears to be deleted You are sure putting me in a defensive corner and making incorrect assumptions about me talking to me like I'm an idiot. To be fair I guess there is alot of context missing in the post as this was my first draft that I used Google talk to text that got posted. I had edited and rewritten it to be more clear but for some reason pawboost didn't update this posting I guess. But at the end of my message it says " go get him " . If I still had him I would have said " come get him" . I posted this right after I left OAS. The reason I had not brought him to OAS when they opened was because I knew they're overcrowded and didn't want to add to it since I had already contacted the chip registry who passed my contact info to the owner. I expected to hear from the owner today. When I didn't hear from the owner I called OAS to let them know I had him in case for whatever reason they didn't get my info from the registry and were looking for him at the shelter. OAS said bring him in so I did. I didn't keep him alone in the yard. I kept him safe last night since oas was closed. The last thing I said was that huskies are escape artists. So I'm well aware of this.

Felicia Fine he IS. at OAS. I am experienced with huskies as well . And that has nothing to do with anything I did.

Felicia Fine (The comment I replied to appears to have been deleted) no you're actually wrong. And I have NOT had him for almost 2 days. He was found SUNDAY NIGHT and brought to me and I brought him to OAS today Monday at 430pm. I had him for a total of 17 hours. Because Felicia as you know, there are no options for stray dogs at night. I took him to Oakvet late at night to have him scanned for a microchip. They gave me the chip number and I looked it up and it was registered and I contacted the registry who told me his name is Kodiak. And they took my contact info and told me they would contact his owner and give them my info and they can call me to arrange picking him up. I assumed someone would be missing him and call me and I would bring him to them wherever and whenever.

It sounds like they already took him in to OAS since they said he did not want to go into the kennel. Hopefully he has an owner looking.

THIS DOG IS CHIPPED. THE ABSOLUTE BEST — AND SAFEST — THING FOR HIM IS TO TAKE HIM TO OAS, AND IT WILL ENSURE HE IS REUNITED WITH HIS OWNERS QUICKLY!! IT IS ALSO THE LAW. Huskies are notorious escape artists, and this dog clearly isn’t car savvy. Putting him in your yard unattended at all (even just to pee) is too risky for him to be able to escape. If you are not able to do so yourself, I am happy to pick him up this evening and get him properly intaked in their system when they open in the morning. I’m an experienced husky owner & foster.
