We have a stray dog outside and we are trying to locate the owners or find a rescue willing to come get him! We gave him a blanket and food but we are unable to bring him inside. We have 2 dogs who are not friendly. We have posts everywhere and need to get this guy safe…please help!

This link will go directly to an animal control officer 24/7: request.indy.gov (if injured select injured stray to make it a priority pick up for medical care) 317-327-3811 And please make a sighting report on IndyLostPetAlert.com which is the website the city shelter runs , as well the NextDoor app/ Neighbors RING app Please leave smelly food & water out in one location up away from traffic . Stay at a distance and gently toss high value meat / smelly treats to him/her gently, always nd be sure to SIT down quietly at their level at a distance , and let them come to you. They may eventually allow you to help to be scanned for a microchip. Thank you for caring and reporting the sighting 🐾
