Can you please put the dirty litter tray outside and put a piece of your worn clothing and/or worn shoes on the clothesline or undercover. Check your property thoroughly as he/she may be frightened and hiding. When they are hiding they can be extremely quiet. Also go out when it’s dark and quiet the best time to head outside and call her/him is between 3-4am. with hot bbq chicken. Listen for a familiar meow as may be hiding, stuck or locked on your property, in a garage or shed. Also door knock and ask to check neighbor’s yards, sheds, garages, bushes etc. yourself . Some cats have recently been found locked in neighbours sheds and garages. One had been up a tree for 3 days.. Check all local vets, shelters, Check found posts on Facebook etc and put up posters in shopping centres and on local community boards.

Please be pro-active search sheds, garages, under buildings, in drains, in between tall walls and fences, roof and wall cavities, on rooves, up trees, vacant buildings, skip bins, storage areas etc. Might be locked in / trapped somewhere, surviving on insects, etc. Take torch. Don't trust neighbours to search!!! Best ask permission to or go with. 10pm - 5am walks with strong smelling food and torch, when no cars: call calmly, stop listen wait. Leave strong smelling food and water out overnight near exit point and possible hiding places / where might be trapped. If eaten, last resort a cat trap on level ground in a safe location. Google how to use safely, monitor closely. Posters, leaflets and door knock. CCTV cameras. Vets, pounds and animal welfare organisations regularly with photo. Do all previous address if puss recently moved home. Track down where any vehicles puss might have entered travelled to, do same there 😞

Try going out at night when it’s quiet take a torch this will help reflect on there eyes if they are hiding, also take some en or dry biscuits shake and call, check with your neighbours ask them to check there yards, check local streets as may be be hiding, put up signs, they may be locked in a garage or shed, If not deed Check within a 7km radius, check drains as well. Contact local vets, Go in and physically check Pounds and shelters, RSPCA, don’t rely on a photo as they are deceiving. ❗️MOST IMPORTANT❗️make sure microchip details are up to date. If they have a blanket, hang on clothes line this will blow there scent around, and help them find there way home.
