I was driving to walk my dog at the boardwalk, I noticed this German Shepard running around. Poor thing is hot. I got out to offer water and see if there was a name/number on its collar but he was too skittish, started walking away from me. He/she was still there laying in the bushes when I finished my walk.

My husband and I have him and we are trying to find his owner. We searched for hours today in the neighborhoods but no luck. He’s so sweet but we have other dogs of our own. His front paw is hurt so we are taking him to the vet tomorrow and if he’s safe to be around our dogs then we will introduce them and be able to keep him longer until we find his owner or figure out a good home for him.
