Message from Owner

I just moved here for an operation, and Cheeto got out and vanished. He has a tattoo in his right ear. He’s in a strange city and province. He can be skittish but knows his name; please message if you see him. He is greatly missed!!

The owner may not be able to go out & look- they may be recovering from the operation they said they moved here for- maybe someone in the area could call Cheeto's name? I have heard if you put their litter box outside their scent can help them find their way home. I really hope Cheeto returns home❤️🙏

Pls check w all your neighbors to let them know u r missing your cat. Ask to check all sheds porches etc. And bushes. Usually they don't go far at first. Timing is essential. Posters help too. Go out at night with flashlight and shine into dark area. Eyes will reflect light. Bring fave treats. Do not put out litter. You can put out kitties bedding or your clothes/blankets during the day.Litter can attract tomcats or other animals attracted to the scent. Your kitty could be close but these animals could scare him and then he might go further away to get out of danger. It's not recommended anymore for these reasons.

Get out and walk the blocks! Post posters in several blocks! They don't usually go far! Ask residents to look in sheds garages anywhere they can hide! Look up in trees where they go for safety! Look in bushes Join neighborhood groups! Best time to search is the middle of the Night 3-5 am Put a cardboard box with something with your scent outside! LOOK IN TREES! SHEDS GARAGES ANY ITEMS WITH A TARP on it

They don't hold for long so I hope you or someone has been checking for the last week or so that he's been missing. If not there, he's likely still close by hiding. He'd be too terrified to go far.
