Follow the tree line! Where did he fly from, look up and see where the closest trees are. He will head for the trees. He may have joined the wild parrots of L.A., they are social little beings, so perhaps he's with them and they are showing him where the food is and where to roost at night. I'm so sorry you lost your friend. Image he on a new adventure and found a mate.
