DEAF older dog wandering in Navy Yard City area STEM school. Sweet very senior old boy.

PLEASE help get this very senior dog to his home... we will check for microchip this afternoon but haven't been able to get him to vet yet. He seems to be deaf; no response to noises behind him and has to see you to acknowledge you, then follows you as long as you'll let him. He is safe for now but hope owner is found ASAP as the dog that lives here is NOT good with other dogs and so this poor little guy is being held on the front porch in a makeshift kennel area, but seems very happy to have had food and water and someone looking out for him. If not reunited with owner by this evening will bring him in and separate in a spare bedroom, but I can't imagine it will be comfy to have another dog barking at your door all night...
