Description

Spotted brown/black tabby with white chin, chest, belly, and paws

Message from Owner

The cat is named Golden, but she doesn't really respond to that. Her paws, chest/belly, and neck/mouth are white. But the rest is typical tabby but more with spots vs. strong stripes. She's slender and small and timid. She likes other cats and I've seen her drawn to them. But very jittery with new humans. I was fostering her when she escaped. Last time she was actively seen and identified as Saturday morning, 8/29. She is truly sweet, just likely scared. Probably won't come to anyone directly, but a location on where she is seen will help align resources to re-trap her. Thank you everyone, for all your help!

So I have put away the traps for now, just because they seemed to spook her when she was coming around. I haven't seen her in about 6 days. I leave food for her in 2 places, garage is open, Flyer have been handed out, posters been put up, 3 motion detecting cameras are set up. Stopped off at Washington County Animal Control (Bonnie Hayes) and dropped off a flyer. I've posted in Pawboost, Nextdoor, and I'll look up the other places and try to get on those sites too. I don't have a Ring camera, but I'll see if I can. That's a great suggestion!

Sandy Tavares Great suggestions! THANK YOU! I don't think she'll come to treats, but I'm taking time off work for the rest of the week to focus on walking the streets early and late, like you suggested.

Thank you, all of you for the great suggestions! I'm not sure she was with me long enough to assign her scent to the blanket in her crate, but I am putting it outside for her anyway, just in case. I've posted on a few online sites. My near neighbors know but I'm placing up laminated tomorrow along, with door-to-door flyers with all my neighbors within a 4 block radius. The recommendations on where to look are great and will communicate those to my neighbors and in the flyers I will leave with them. I have traps when I need them, and cameras going 24/7 right now around my property and garage. Crossing fingers! She seems super sweet, just panicked from the change in scenery and a stranger.

Not sure if this will help, but you could try.. Please place its bedding 🛏 outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing👚👖 front and back door 🚪with a contents of tuna can 🐟 on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well...supervise food outdoors. Also vaccumed home 🧹dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home🏡 enterence . You can also add some catnip 🌱in a stocking hanging by your entrances. Show your neighbors 🖼picture of the🐈 cat. 10 houses to the ⬅️ left 10 house🏡 to the right➡️ front ⬆️ and back⬇️ if they spot him to give you a call ☎️ immediately. Also, you can put up a Sign post 🪧with your 🐱📷 picture. In front of your 🏡lawn and to call you or contact you ASAP. Go early ⏰️ in the ☀️morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Also, you can install a camera / Baby monitor 📹 to monitor and see & hear if the cat is around your house 🏡. You can even ask your Local Pet 🐱 Animal Shelter to Rent out a Safe Trap and monitor it.. Praying for a soon safe return 🍀 of your kitty 🙏 ❤️🏡🐾
