Very sweet dog that was lying in the middle of the road near the intersection of Goodman crossing road and Johnson mountain road, I pulled over first because he was lying in my Lane but a few other people pulled over to check as well, with no immediate solution, a couple college-age girls in a black Camry said they would take him with them for now and try to reunite them with their owner. Just posting this so that the owner knows that he or she is safe and looking to get back home!

Thank you so much for getting this dog safe and out of the road. Wishing owners would be more responsible and always have identification on their Pyrenees at all times. A collar with a name tag and phone number on it and a microchip. We see so many euthanized in Virginia shelters because owners can't be bothered. And heading into 4th of July this week with all of the fireworks, there will be thousands more on the run. Thank you for getting this poor dog out of the road before getting hit and killed

If someone is containing the dog, be sure to file a found report with animal control. The owners may be looking there for the dog as well. Then they would have your contact information. Thx!!

Leslie Bloxam I think Campbell Co is pretty far from Manassas ? I think the one found in picture looks older possibly too . But never hurts to check to make sure .
