Require proof of ownership. Take by vet to scan for chip. Post on Nextdoor and post flyers. File online found reports with shelters.

Thanks for helping him/her!🙏❤️ Any vet office or chain pet store Or shelter can scan chip for free. pls file a found pet notice on petconnecf if possible. It’ll go on shelters’ data base incase family is looking for him or her there. A lot people don’t have social media. His family must be missing him so much!! If you bring him to Front Street or SPCA you can do finder/foster if desired while shelter tries to locate his family or during stray hold period. Shelters covers all medical during foster care.
