MESSAGE FROM OWNER

One night after work I landed up with a migraine so server that the ambulance was called come get me and I was hospitalized for two days. They thought I was having a mini-stroke. I used to live at the tiny village. So charlie who is my service animal stood behind. When I returned to the tiny village charlie was taken by a worker. So by the time I knew I was told that they gave him away and was not to return back to me. I was furious still am furious. All I want his charlie to be returned back to my life. Life feels chaotic with out him. I had him since he was 3 months adopted from the east side shelter. He has help me in the worst times of my life. He made everything feel normal. Tia Jones as far as from what I found out he may be in Santa Fe with the person who took him and tried changing ownership in her name but called back later on and said she would inform me what her plans were. Which was not done that way. So I know who might have him or knows his where abouts. I'm trying to make sure I do the right actions in getting him back. I thank you guys and would still like your support in trying to get him returned back to me. Please any way you can and thank you

April Haycox You said the dog is microchipped fortunately. Hope you reported it to the microchip company. Between that, photos and vet records you have proof of ownership. Good luck STOLEN: Check https://petfbi.org/how-to-protect-your-pet/stolen-pets/ for tips. Includes filing a police report, contacting your local media (TV stations, newspapers) and checking Craig’s List where your pet may be posted for sale. Check any nearby security camera footage. Post on NextDoor. Community awareness and rewards often brings them home.

Tia Jones his dog isn't lost in the traditional sense. It's was stolen by a worker at the place he lives when Ruben was taken to the hospital. The worker threatened Ruben with BS legal action so unfortunately the only chance he has is if someone spots the dog with the person the dog was given to.

Ruben Baca yeah if he's a service animal they cannot do that to you or him. Regardless of your circumstances. They shouldn't have even separated him from you to begin with but that's happened. They also don't have the legal right to rehome him. Contact APD and animal humane. I will also see if I can find any resources that are ADA specific that can help get him back.
