Kathy Eldridge-Steinhauer there is a standard poodle tuie called royal standards. Backyard breeders will greed these they are out of the breed standard for standard poodles because people think bigger is better. So that might be why he looks larger than the average standard poodle. But just looking at this picture it looks like a purebred standard poodle to me. Somebody's missing this dog, he's well groomed not recently but you can tell he's been groomed and likely been taken care of and just got out and got lost. I hope his owners are found. Since tomorrow Sunday the clinics are open but possibly take him to a vet clinic and scan for a chip on Monday and see if you can find his own it that way. I hope he finds his correct owners. Judging from the looks of him he looks like he got out and if somebody stated if he had a collar with a tag on it it would help get him home faster. I hope he's chipped. You could notify local vet clinics about him also also local grooming shops because he's obviously been groomed. Hoping he finds his rightful owners.

I have the F1B Goldendoodle. His hair looks very similar to the picture. He definitely has the poodle curly hair and is also big, weighing 80lbs. I really hope you find the owner. Hopefully he is chipped.

Lakita Nichole Taylor I have seen the be as big as 90lbs so they can get big, he looks like an absolute cutie and hoping he has a good home that has just lost him. Unfortunately the doodle craze has crashed and unscrupulous backyard breeders like to dump their breeding dogs they deem no longer valuable, so I hope that is not his case. I would definitely ask for proof of ownership to anyone that tried to claim him ie pics and or vet records.

Lakita Nichole Taylor I agree it is a standard poodle as doodles tend to no be so curly…but always an exception to the rule. Sharing and praying owners are found.
