My wife and I spotted the dog in the middle of a 4 lane roadway. Dog was almost struck by 2 different cars coming over the hill with low visibility. We pulled over and was able to get her to come to us, has a color, but no tags, no vaccine records (rabies is a requirement) and no name. We took her to the local vet, no one there recognized her, they checked for a chip to track pets with, nothing, and noted the dog was skiddish and thin (could feel the ribs). We have been busy, but have cleaned and well fed the dog. I don't want to take to SPCA or Shelter from bad personal experiences with them putting found dogs down. If this is your dog, or you know who's it is, please Email me. If not, my Mother is lonely and will take care of her in case the dog was purposely abandoned (again, ive seen it in my life with people dumping dogs on the side of the road), that would be sad, but we genuinely just want to help, and do the right thing.
