Message from Owner

She ran out the door when we didn't t notice. It had been almost an hour before we realized she was gone. We looked all throughout the apmt complex. She is not the type to like to be pet by. strangers but is very food motivated. Im not sure whether shes hiding near or if someone took her in. Shes is a light green/yellow eyed, dilute calico shorthair with a shaved belly and a little scar near her lower belly from recent spay surgery:

Gale Furman- Jones is the nearest major cross street. Apts = Legacy at Cypress, just south of Anderson Woods and behind the area where the McDonald's and strip mall at Jones & Grant is.

Check on 24petconnect.com, they are linked to all the local shelters and you can search by your zip code. Call and physically go into the shelters to look for her.

Also try playing cats or kittens meowing on YouTube outside in your yard or in a window of your home. Check with neighbors as she may have been accidentally locked in a garage or shed.

Try putting something outside with your scent on it, worn socks seem to work best. If you have a garage put a bowl of food in there and leave the door open enough for her to get in. Although I am sure you have already done this, start searching immediately and keep looking. Look in bushes, under cars, and anywhere she can crawl into, they tend to stay close to home. Take a can of food with you and call her name or use whatever sound gets her to come to you. Search early morning, evenings with a flashlight, and late at night. Praying for her safe return home 🙏
