Jean Benton he is literally the SWEETEST dog ever!! I think he’s attached to me now though bc he runs to me when there’s loud noises, people yell or he’s wanting pets! We took him to Piratefest (a community thing with vendors & food) on Sat and he loved walking around looking at all the people! I just can’t imagine him outside alone! Someone was definitely mean to him the way he acts towards people in general (especially males).. looks like my friend is keeping him bc no one has claimed him!

Lisa Stone exactly one of my thoughts.. i think he was mistreated because he would cower down into submission whenever we’d simply go to pet his head 🥺 he’s the SWEETEST boy

You may want to have him checked for a microchip. I believe someone from Animal Control can come out to check or you can take him to any vet. If you haven’t done so you can complete an online form on the Pitt County Animal Services website. Also post on the Next door app and LOST AND FOUND PETS OF PITT COUNTY as well as LOST SND FOUND PETS OF PITT COUNTY 2.0.
