Call the Virginia Beach animal shelter and report this found dog. In Virginia Beach, you have 48 hours to make this report. Owners will check with them first to see if their dog has been brought in. You can foster the dog, but the shelter has to give permission

We did not call animal control. We did go around the surrounding neighborhood and ask people if they know someone with a similar looking dog. Me and a couple cars tried to attach a leash but dog was skiddish and ran into the woods This was on S Rd
