My daughter’s 4 year old female cat will sneak out periodically but comes back within a day or 2. She is an indoor/outdoor cat. She is smaller in size. She doesn’t like to be held but will allow you to pet her. She has a breakaway collar with a bell. I think she has tried to come up late at night but we have large dogs. She loves the dogs but they get super excited and run after her. It’s had to see late at night if it’s her coming up to the hse. We walk the neighborhood and woods almost daily looking for her. She acts more like a feral cat.
