She was brought into the East Valley animal shelter on July 5 by someone who found her near Sherman Way and Woodman. I actually adopted her but our whole family is concerned that she has another family out there that is missing her. She is very sweet, comfortable in the hse, and knows many commands.

Hello. Thank you for your compassion both for your doggie and the people who might miss him. My ShiTzu story is so similar. 3 years ago she was found with her harness and leash tied to a rope on a tree in a very bad area, weeds, trash with no food or water. She was in bad physical shape. I adopted her from the rescue. I love her with all my heart. However, I don’t believe she was abused but somehow someone took or found her from the original owner who must have been heartbroken. Was she strayed originally ? Stolen? She knew several commands, is truly house trained, etc etc. and the sweetest little girl ever. She loves everyone , is playful and smart. She must be about 10 or 11 years now since 3 years have passed. I wonder if she misses her early years with a good person/people. Thank you for caring so much for your precious one, a gift from the universe. Bless you both.
