Message from Owner

My Mozart got out on early Wednesday morning. He is an indoor cat and had a collar with tags and has been micro chip. He's one of my babies and I am so upset and stressed. I've been calling for him frequently. Please, please if anyone sees him or has him contact me asap so I can pick him up. I'm so worried and been crying all night and day.

Not 100% sure it is the same cat but I just saw a cat that looks a lot like this guy on Sunrise Canyon Universal city. He just now crossed the street near the intersection Stonefield and Sunrise Canyon toward Sunrise Canyon.

What to do if you lose your Cat 1. Search all places inside and around your house as cats can hide in small places. 2. Shake their treat bag and softly call their name. 3. Search at dusk and dawn with a flashlight as the light will pick up their eyes. Outside they tend to hide under shrubs, under porches, in open sheds & drainage ditches. You can shake their treats while looking outside too. 4. Put something with your scent on it outdoors, on a porch or deck if possible or in a garage with the door cracked. Sometimes the scent brings them home. You can also put out their litter box but depending on where you live, it could attract predators. 5. Post on nextdoor 6. Post on pawboost. You can download a free flyer here. 7. Make a lost pet report to all the local shelters especially in areas that have close boundaries. 8. Post on FB Lost & Found Groups 9. Post on PetFBI site and use .org as the ending. 10. If chipped, report to chip company but don’t forget to change status when your cat is found. 12. Ask your neighbors to check their garages and sheds. 13. Last you can rent a humane trap at your local shelter and set it with some tasty food. Your cat may be coming around the house late at night.
