At least she is safe in the shelter. Is there a way to let Cabarrus shelter also know about her? Maybe send them her picture, or call them?

Tanya Barbee I found them at about 4:20 on Tuesday. I stopped by the vet down the road, got what I needed, amd had her scanned for a chip. No luck with the chip, and when I asked where to take them, they said to a shelter. Cabarrus was closed by then, so i took her to Charlotte-Mecklenburg.

I also thought the area was within mecklenburg since I live nearby and am within the Charlotte-Mecklenburg county, so told the shelter i found her within Charlotte-Mecklenburg. I also specified the road I found her on if that helped.

Sandra Cooper as much as i wanted to take her to the cabarrus county shelter, they closed before i could get there. I contacted a few places and asked them where to bring her and they said to go to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg shelter. This is roughly where she was located (the right side of the border is Cabarrus and the left is Charlotte-Mecklenburg), so she could verry well have come from either side of the county lines (she was located less than a mile away from the border). Hopefully they will check both. She seemed pretty thin and her nails were very overgrown, but her coat was nice, didn't have fleas, and her teeth looked good.
