The shelters I have called do not take stray cats. The humane society, naws did not respond. Does anyone know who does? Very friendly now.

Call Snip society in Joliet. They have numbers for places that can help. Please don't take to animals control. They will put him down 🤬

Post in as many groups as you can like town, nearby towns, county and lost and founds. Also posting in Neighbors, Nextdoor, Petfbi and Pawboost is a good idea too. etc. Also put up posters around the area lost in plastic zip lock bags for the people not on FB.

You’d have to take to animal controls for any rescue to pull them. Maybe they are chipped

Contact naws in Mokena as they are near. See if they can help. Hope the cat is fixed as it is kitten season and will get worse.

Try Joliet Animal Control.. I’m not sure if they will or not, but they have after hours voicemail / on call ( at least they used to). They can check for a chip.
