Absolute utter disbelief, depressed, extremely distraught, and dumbfounded by INLAND VALLEY HUMANE SOCIETY in POMONA. This agency put our sweet baby up for adoption without contacting us or checking her chip to see that she is registered to us and has owners. They failed to conduct their due diligence. Our little shadow slipped through our fence in a new hole she made in the chicken wire we put for extra safety and we immediately took action. My family have been searching for her endlessly since her escape on July 7, 2026. We posted flyers, called all the pounds, went to animal parks, called every agency we could think of. It was radio silent, no one reached out or checked her collar to call us. We had our little shadow for almost 9 years now, she survived a pit bull attack where we thought we were going to lose her and she underwent emergency surgery, she now struggles to breathe correctly. She sleeps with my brothers every night and loves cuddles. Please help reunite her with us. We were told by IVHS in Pomona she was adopted out, as we have been informed by this agency, please help us find the owners in hopes they will understand our grievance for wanting our baby back.
