This lovely has been hanging out in our front yard for two days. It will not let us approach. We have left food and water out. It seems to be limping a bit. It does have a collar. It seems tired. We are worried about the heat.

‼️ HARTT is working this case, thank you! We do have a humane trap and camera set up in a location where the dog has previously been seen. 👀 If you see this dog please let us know! We need sightings and locations please! You can text me if you see him/her: 480 … 490 … 2171. Please provide date, time, and exact location. Also if the dog was on the move, which direction? If laying down, where? A 📍drop is great if possible. 🚫 Please DO NOT chase - we need the dog to feel invisible and feel safe to stay in the area. Do not call out, whistle, clap, or do anything to make the dog aware that you have seen him. ❌ Please DO NOT feed! HARTT is attempting to trap the dog, but he won’t go to the trap for food if he’s getting food elsewhere. Feeding him now will only delay getting him to safety. 🔎 To reiterate, we DO NEED SIGHTINGS so we can make sure the trap is placed in the most effective location. 💧If you are able to leave a large plastic (not metal) bowl of water in a shady spot for the dog to find, that would be a kind thing to do. This poor dog’s coat is black and very furry, the heat is a real danger. 🩵 Thank you!
