Black possible husky/shepherd mix

My husband and I saw this dog running all around the cross streets of Adams and 30th around 7:30pm on 5/31/26. He is skittish if humans are nearby. No visible collar. We spoke with the SD humane society’s animal control # and they said they will send someone out, they said to not approach and to leave the situation given the circumstances. We knocked on the door of a hse that had an open gate, they said the dog was not theirs. Really hoping this dog can reunite with its owner.
