My brother found this VERY friendly guy on the way to Larcher’s (by Douglas & Clifton in College Hill) this morning. He loves to give kisses and look out the car window! Can’t keep him too long unfortunately! I’ll be keeping this dog in my backyard until owner reaches out or I can find someone to foster this afternoon. Trying to avoid taking him to the shelter.

Angela Sanders Harding I am at home with a newborn. Unless you are coming to put in this effort to get the dog scanned and hang up posters, I am going to use the resources available to me. I have posted on Nextdoor. Another post is pending in the Wichita lost pets group. I am unwilling to be responsible for an unfixed pit mix right now.

Any veterinarian office can scan for a microchip for free and no appointment needed. Put some found dog signs in the area. Make sure the person claiming the dog has proof of ownership...photos or veterinarian records etc. Put a post on the neighborhood Nextdoor maybe someone will recognize it and know who the owner is. Please don't take to the shelter it could be euthanized after the 3 day hold if not claimed by owner. Hope the owner is found soon 🙏
