Please Google vets in your ZIP code. People will take the cat to a vet to check for a chip, some vets will hold the animal until Animal Control comes. Most have Facebook pages and you can post your lost Kitty on the vets Facebook pages. Also check with PetSmart locations in your area. All PetSmart locations have a vet inside the store, and many of them have cat adoption centers and for a donation will accept a stray cat. Not all of them report or post those animals that are surrendered to them as a stray
