Message from Finder

This dog almost got hit by a car on division and my wife and I went after him. He is SUPER friendly towards people and other dogs. He hasn’t shown a single sign of aggression. We took him across the street and he is chipped. They told us we could take him to the pound or take him . They called the chip company and they left a message to the owners with our information but we haven’t heard anything back. His nails are clipped and he knows some commands so I’m assuming someone is missing him! Please comment or message me if you know anything about him!

He's chipped so that's promising. I had a black lab/shepard mix for 13 years - he was my son. If his owners dont claim him what happens? Funnily enough, my 'son' was found in the same area but he was a puppy and I adopted him from Multnomah County pound in 1986 timeframe.
