***POST NEXTDOOR, RING NEIGHBORHOOD, PETCO LOVE LOST Check ✔️ Humane Society, Animal Shelters In-Person DAILY. Some Keep Pets 5 Days then put up for Adoption. Boots on the ground - Walk ur neighborhood check window wells, under decks, inside bushes, sheds, garages, dumpsters, under staircases. Indoor Cats don't go far, usually close by. Others hide during the day and roam @ night when it's quiet. Shake bag of cat food or treats, walking, calling by name, saying are u hungry, Bring a flashlight, search day & night. Knock on doors. Post Flyer's on neighbor's doors

Getting a humane trap is very important part of finding a lost cat. The cats are typically close by but hiding and scared to come around. Set up a trap baited with smelly food outside the exit where he escaped. You can borrow a humane trap from a shelter and they will show you how to use it. Keep searching tho on foot under between behind and inside all areas around your property and your neighbors with a flashlight to reflect eyes and a treat bag to shake. Don't give up, be positive and proactive!

Be careful of scammers targeting lost and found pages never give money up front to anyone who says they have your cat or can find him or pressure you to buy a device or Drone service and never agree to meet anyone alone. They now even use AI images of supposedly your cat, even posing as vet clinics or animal control agencies. No valid lead or agency requires money up front.
