Message from Finder

Please help spread the word about this found cat. Cat was found on August 27, 2026 in Alexandria, VA near Holmes Run Pkwy near N. Ripley St. 22304. Extremely sweet male cat, was meowing outside the townhouse here loudly for over half an hour at least. Very good coat condition, mostly gray, mottled white on hips and belly. VERY thin, accepted pets, head butted us both. Slightly agitated but we think he was just starving. Put out kibble and water and bone broth made for cats, to make sure he drinks. He ate voraciously once he felt safe. Breathing a little hard, may be dehydrated. No visible injuries. No visible disease. VERY lovey. Seems to know what a cell phone is, and meowing he def knows people. For more information or to contact the finder, PawBoost or PetcoLove.

*****He must be nearby. Put out food, treats, a crate, treats, toys, your scent on something out and around the house outside. He will most likely not hide where there are dogs. Check all outbuildings, under decks etc and leave treats, your scent. Some in rescues will have traps so you can use with the some items trap in at your front or back door. This will 99% of the time not be in the daylight. It will be 1-4 am ish. Late dark hours when it’s quiet. Walk around over and over where you live showing his photos. Ask your neighbours if okay to leave his food. What you want is a siting to concentrate on if you can’t trap him close to your door. I don’t know how long he’s been gone but he’s probably watching you. They get very skittish. You mostly likely will need a trap. Be diligent. Don’t give up🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

Helping animals is an act of profound goodness that benefits both the animals themselves and the human spirit. Animals in need, whether abandoned, injured, or abused, deserve compassion and care. By offering assistance, we alleviate their suffering, provide them with safety and comfort, and give them a chance at a better life. Furthermore, helping animals cultivates empathy, kindness, and responsibility within us. It fosters a deeper connection to the natural world and reinforces the importance of respecting all living creatures. Ultimately, acts of kindness towards animals enrich our own lives and contribute to a more compassionate and harmonious world.
