Message from Owner

Jesse is a spoiled indoor kitty and I'm sure he's ready to come he'd just doesn't know how. He is my sweet, precious boy and I miss him terribly.

Put the litterbox outside open can of tuna and water check sheds garages and vehicles go outside early and before dark and call for the cat crack a window in case the cat meows for you do not give up.

Kathy I've done all those things. Driving around neighborhoods twice a day, handing out flyers, flyers in mailbox, registered on multiple sites. Went to shelter too. I'm beginning to think someone took him because he was an indoor cat. Thinking of offering a reward.

I’d after 10 PM go out on your yard with a bag of kitty treats and a flashlight. Walk around quietly call your cat’s name and check shaking the cat treats. Use the flashlight to look in the bush to see if you see your cat hiding. Report this cat is missing with Chesapeake animal control. Print flyers with a picture of your cat and your contact information. Take the flyers around to your neighbors and ask them to call you if they see your cat. Ask them also if they’ve been at their shed, the cat would go in there because it feels safe. Then the owner closes the shed door and the cat can’t get out. You cannot hear a cat crying to get out of the shed unless you’re standing right next to it. If the cat is chipped to make sure the contact information is correct with the chip registry. Visit Chesapeake animal control on S. Military Highway to see if your cat was picked up. Go in person they have too many cats and dogs and they’re so busy. They don’t have time to go look for your cat.
