Our beloved baby likes to wander but usually not so far from . He’s an older cat with a young heart, and could have slipped into a grge during a rain storm. Please call for him! He loves tuna broth. Not sure how too describe how much we love this cat. My daughter called him her big brother. Please report any sightings. Much appreciated

DESCRIPTION

Still searching for him - please check garages, garden sheds, etc. My only consolation is someone picked him up to rehome him or is taking care of him. Either way he has a very sensitive stomach and will get sick on the wrong food. This is not his fault, he's older. If he does this, please return him to Florida Haven & Maitland Ave or Lake Seminary Circle so he can find his way back home. Thank you. (Realize this message may not be reaching the people it needs to, but in case it does - my desperation showing). Thank you so much for the tips! I've been calling for him, listening for him, in our neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods 2-3 times a day. Flyers are posted. Have been checking shelters, my vet, and sale sites.

I'm so sorry your beautiful, fluffy gray cat is lost. You say Thunder doesn't wander far and may have darted into a garage if it were raining -- that suggests he's allowed outside but failed to return home. If he's an escaped indoor cat, please let me know and I'll provide different instructions. Otherwise, this is what I suggest: Thoroughly search using a flashlight during the day and especially at dusk (when it's dark and quiet) to determine whether he’s ill or injured and hiding nearby, or stuck somewhere. Check every crack and crevice, look in outbuildings, containers, vehicles, under foundations, sheds and porches, into trees, etc. — call and listen carefully for Thunder’s cries (he may alert you to his location). And it’s important to ask neighbors to do the same and make sure Thunder didn’t hide and become trapped in a shed or garage, etc. Please see this list of step-by-step instructions developed to help others in this situation (click on the link to the PDF) and let me know if you have questions. https://www.dropbox.com/s/huk0d1p6euu74ug/OutdoorCat.pdf?dl=0&fbclid=IwAR2TiOBxtcgt8odNRjcoGicoHsGDWrw3K9N4ox0GATJh4qGdsFD6T6gaXFA In addition, this video explains the temperament and behavior of a lost cat — it may instill hope of finding Thunder. https://www. youtube.com/watch?v=g2eCoC63B9I Good luck. Please keep us posted on your progress.
