Message from Owner

Our beloved Pionus flew out the door morning of Feb 23rd in the Woodbine neighborhood (south east of Berry Hill). We are absolutely devastated, she's been with us for years and very much a part of our family. She makes a loud, sharp call that sounds like "KACK" or loud "oinks". She is about 11" from tail to beak. Stubby tail with red under her vent. She can fly well but may not come to strangers. Please message me if she is spotted, even if she flies away! Thank you so much!

I've seen tips before about putting their cage out on the porch, etc., while leaving the door open. You can put some food in too. Monitor the area often... Post also to Nextdoor; Put an Ad in the local newspapers; check Craigslist. Post Lost Parrot signs in the area lost, (in a 5 mile radius); Give Flyers to neighbors/Mail and Delivery people; ask to please check in trees, etc. Report lost to area shelters; Hope this helps to locate the lost pet!
