Please follow a missing cat report with the Virginia Beach animal control. If the cat is chipped, make sure that the chip registry has your current contact information. This is a shelter several times a week. Tonight after 10 PM at night go out of your yard with a bag of kitty treats and a flashlight walking around calling your cats name and shaking the kitty treats bag. Use the flashlight to look in the bushes to see if you find your cat hiding. Print flyers with your cats picture and your contact information and take them around to your neighbors, ask them to call you if they see your cat. Also, ask them if they’ve been in their shed outbuilding or garage since the cat went missing. Cats go in those places to feel safe. Look under porches, decks, and any house with an open crawlspace for the cat could hide.
