HappyCatLadythank you for the info! I fed and left water out. I let him greet my cats through a screen door, he hissed and scurried away. Food is left out and I am looking into resources. He looks young! Around 1 year. I am currently fostering kittens for Oakland animal services so my home is not available for him. Hoping he will come back and we find a bright future for him

Thank you for helping this Poor cat - please please provide food and water...I pray you will consider fostering him - I bring any new rescue into my bathroom where it's safe and contained and the cat can acclimate inside...all you need is litter box food water bowls and a blanket or towel as a bed...damia 650-339-6619. p.s. Tipped ear means kitty is fixed and was fixed via a community cat program ( 3 of my indoor ONLY cats have tipped ears!) but it doesn't mean kitty can't be indoors. I've converted over 50 outdoor cats into indoor only - it's not hard at all. In this case, it seems kitty's feeder or guardian may have or moved or been hospitalized ..this happens all the time...and poor kitty found kind hearted you - when they show up like this we are usually their last hope... Please try getting him scanned for a microchip in case kitty's chip is registered ....any vet or shelter will scan FOR FREE - here's how to get kitty into a carrier (i made this video at home) https://youtu.be/tpEf5PxNhko Talk to your neighbors maybe someone knows something...regardless - kitty needs food water consistently and being taken off the street would be the best scenario - happy to talk to you about this - as I've done this MANY times in the last 8 years - I have a new kitty in my bathroom right now! perfectly happy being in a small space while acclimating to the new sounds of my home...sending you love and thanks...damia 650-339-6619.
