Missing Cat – Please Help Us Find Mailo On 3/8/2026 at approximately 6:50 AM, our household woke up and noticed that our kitty Mailo was missing. The night before, around 8:00 PM, all of the “parents” and our furry kids were together on the couch. About 30 minutes later we went to bed, and everything seemed normal. When we woke up the next morning for their usual breakfast routine (they have their daddy well trained), we realized one kitty was missing. We’re not sure how she got out. We do have a doggie door that leads to the side of the hse, but it goes into a dog run that’s enclosed with a gate and bird mesh to keep the pets in and make it harder for anything to get in. Unfortunately, we do have a camera in the dog run, but it had recently updated and was likely reset to factory settings, so the pet-detection alerts were turned off. I’ve fixed it now, but it may have been too late to catch what happened. Mailo is not spayed and not chipped, and she is not wearing a collar because she was a master at taking it off. It honestly feels strange because I know she didn’t go out the front or back door. It almost feels like she just vanished into thin air. I know cats are smart and sometimes wander but eventually come back . My biggest worry is the golf course behind our hse. That said, I still have hope because I’ve seen other cats pass by our front door camera before, so maybe she’s nearby. If anyone in the area has seen Mailo, please let me know. We miss her and just want her . Thank you. ❤️ we are devastated 💔 In the area of Avondale,AZ (Fairwayand Madison/124th Ave)
