Message from Owner

Our elderly (19) indoor cat has been missing for over a week now from right by the Hyde Creek fish hatchery. I've already called the animal shelter and area vets, and yes know the odds of her being alive are slim. Aside from her specific markings, her biggest distinguishing features are that she's tiny (only about 5lbs) and has a very short tail, only about 6" long. She has kidney disease and needs lots of water and special food to keep her hydration up. If you see my sweet old lady, please let me know!

*Keep trying what's listed....All the best in your beautiful cat's return,~💜💜 **Cats that get outside, they tend to panic & hide, usually close to home. When it's dark out, go outside with a flashlight or headlamp & look under every bush, vehicles anything they might go to for safety around your home. Watch for their Eyes to light up with the beam of the flashlight. Let neighbors know, they sometimes will get locked in an open shed & Put posters up. Leave out some bedding/clothing of theirs & yours, but NOT the litter box - however some people do put their litter box out & it works. Going out with a bag of treats OR whatever your cat loves to eat... calling their name. IF at all possible to leave a window or door open, when it's quiet many have come back. Continue looking & calling. The cat is scared & hiding & may have been chased. REPEAT, REPEAT, REPEAT If possible consider building a Catio - so much safer for kitties who like the sights/smells of outdoors. attached is one website to build, there are many - google or fb has many showing how to build one.

Start knocking on doors 2 Blk area around your house. Give out number to everyone, someone might of taken him in but ask them to check anything they had open, seacans garages sheds look under porches in hedges up trees even power poles . Put out litterbox and things that smell of both of u. Could be coming home while u sleep 💤 cats love 3 am. Take your walk morn and nite shake treats and listen. But talk to people and give number someone will or has seen your cat. Don't give up.
